2023 Dao Prize – Honorable Mention

Joseph Simonson is a runner-up to the 2023 Dao Grand Prize with Andrew Kerr and received $10,000 for their two part series for the Washington Free Beacon about how a certain corporation controls left-wing networks.

Joe Simonson is a senior investigative reporter for the Washington Free Beacon. He previously worked as an investigative reporter and campaign correspondent for the Washington Examiner. His work has appeared in the New York Post, the American Conservative, and National Review. He lives in Washington, DC.
